David Gollub, Certified Public Accountant
Mr. Gollub is responsible for financial reporting and adherence to state and federal rules and regulations. Mr. Gollub has been a CPA since 1976. Additionally, he maintains a private practice in Long Beach, CA., specializing in business and personal tax preparation and planning.
Mr. Gollub started his accounting career in the certified audit department of Alexander Grant & Company, a national CPA firm. He received his B.A. degree from the University of Chicago in 1965 and his Masters degree in Economics from UCLA in 1968.
Linnet Mercano, Controller
Mrs. Mercano has a total of over 10 years work experience. Her accounting responsibilities include: tracking annual budgets, monthly financial spreadsheets, as well as full-charge bookkeeping and assisting the CPA with the preparation of financial reports.
Prior to joining Landwin, Ms. Mercano served as Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer for a Medical Billing and Workers Compensation firm. She also has experience in human resources, recruitment, and worked as the Brand Manager of Swiss Miss in ConAgra’s remote headquarters in the Philippines. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University in 2002.
Paul S. Sigelman, General Counsel
Mr. Sigelman is responsible for primary contracts and review of legal matters pertaining to Landwin, LLC. He has been a California attorney for 28 years, engaging in real estate transactions both in professional representation and as a principal dealing in purchase, leasing, land use and planning.
Mr. Sigelman gained real estate expertise as a principal and the lead attorney of Gaming & Resort Development, Inc. and as a manager of the ROI Trust. He has participated in various business ventures, including capital formation by syndication, joint ventures and private placement. He received his LLM from the University of Minnesota in 1967.
Miles Ewbank, Property Accountant
Miles has been in the commercial real estate industry for over seventeen years. As Landwin’s head of Property Accounting, he has property financial and operational reporting responsibility for all of Landwin’s existing, income-producing properties.
Miles is also the Designated Broker and Managing Member of Inverness, LLC, a company founded by his family. Employing over thirty full-time professionals at Inverness, Miles oversees operations, including maintenance and accounting of over forty commercial properties, including shopping centers, regional malls, office buildings, and industrial complexes.
Miles is an Arizona State licensed real estate broker and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He is also a graduate of Northern Arizona University where he earned a B.S. degree in electrical engineering.
Bruce I. Shapiro, Development & Leasing
In 1997, Bruce Shapiro co-founded Arizona Partners, a retail investment development company. Since its inception, Arizona Partners has acquired and/or developed several million square feet of retail space. Major companies involved with Arizona Partners include Orix USA, Great Western Bank, Standard Life Insurance, Transamerica Realty Services and the Resolution Trust Corporation.
Mr. Shapiro began his real estate career with Marcus & Millichap in 1985. He was the office Rookie of the Year and went on to become one of the firm’s top sales agents, closing 51 transactions for a total amount over 300,000,000.
Arizona Partners and Landwin have joined together in several joint ventures.
Cristina Diaz, Investor Relations
Cristina has ten years of experience in all aspects of administration management including Executive Assistance, Customer Service, and Investor Relations. Since 2007, she has been involved in Landwin's day-to-day operations with a focus on Investor Relations and property-related support services. Cristina serves as a liaison to the legal team, senior management and Investors
Ms. Diaz has completed courses in Real Estate Principals, Practices, and Real Estate Law, and is a California Notary Public.
Keith Moser, Director of Construction
Mr. Moser has overall responsibility for working with architects, city and governing agencies, for overseeing on-site and off-site construction, bid preparation contract negotiations, subcontractor relations, pricing, cost accounting, vendor selection, material procurement and construction scheduling.
Mr. Moser also oversees all onsite and off-site construction and document development, negotiates with outside brokers and creates the leasing plans for all project locations.
Mr. Moser has over 33 years of experience in the development construction industry and has been a licensed contractor in various states including Arizona and California. He has developed over 20 million square feet of retail and office throughout the United States.
Martin Landis, CEO
Martin Landis is the CEO of Landwin Real Estate Advisors, LLC (Landwin) and its affiliates. He has been a leader in the commercial real estate industry since 1969 when he founded, took public, and served as Chairman & CEO of a commercial real estate development company based in Century City, CA.
Throughout the 1970s, he financed, developed, built and sold more than 10 million square feet of commercial properties across the United States. Mr. Landis established Landwin in 1987 as a boutique advisory and asset management business serving the interests of high net worth individual investors. Over the past two decades, Landwin has acquired and sold several million square feet of retail, office, industrial and condominium/multi-family properties.
Prior to his real estate career, Mr. Landis founded and served as Chairman & CEO of D.L. Blair, Inc., a New York-based marketing company that grew into the largest marketing company in the US. Mr. Landis is a native of Long Island, NY and earned a B.B.A. degree from Hofstra University. He is also a graduate of The IBM Institute in Endicott, NY, and served in the United States Army.
James M. Dick, Mortgage Broker
A 40+ year veteran of the commercial real estate finance industry, Jamie spent the first 20 years in various positions of loan production and management in the banking industry. Banks included HomeFed Bank of San Diego, Fleet Bank of Boston, and Mellon Bank of New York City. In 2001, Jamie began his mortgage banking career spending the next eight years with Burnham Real Estate of San Diego as a senior director of the Real Estate Finance Group. Beginning in 2009 he joined the San Francisco based mortgage banking firm of Newmark Realty Capital as the manager of its San Diego office and was in this position for seven years, until joining Kidder Mathews in 2016. During Jamie’s 15-year mortgage banking career, he has originated financing for borrower clients including banks, life insurance companies, CMBS lenders, pension funds, Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac, as well as numerous private lenders and investors.
Jamie is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, California Mortgage Bankers Association, NAIOP, ICSC and the San Diego County Apartment Association. He also provides expert witness testimony regarding commercial real estate finance.
Rosemary Mendoza, COO
Rosemary has been in the real estate industry for over seventeen years. As the Chief Operating Officer, Rosemary is responsible for Landwin’s corporate and day-to-day operational management. She is an integral part of Landwin's acquisitions, redevelopment, and dispositions of commercial property. Rosemary’s is committed to streamlining processes, lowering cost and increasing investment yields.
Prior to joining Landwin, she served as a manager with an investment group involved in mergers and acquisitions in the industrial sector. In this capacity, she provided investment valuations for prospective purchases, as well as advising on new management, structure, and team training.
In addition to corporate real estate experience, she has led various departments for several corporations, such as; Accounting, Human Resources, Investor Relations, and Operations. Rosemary has a wide-range of experience and comprehensive knowledge of people and business management. Her broad skill set includes communications, negotiation, training, financial management, due diligence, and accounting.
Jeffrey Erhart, Arizona Counsel
Mr. Erhart is responsible for all contracts and legal matters pertaining to projects. Mr. Erhart has been a partner of Brier, Irish, Hubbard & Erhart, PLC since 2007. He practiced with Phoenix, Arizona law firms from 1981 to 1986, was in-house counsel for a financial institution from 1986 through 1989, was in private practice with a law firm from 1990 to 2004 and was in-house general counsel for a NYSE public company in 2005-2006. His areas of practice include real estate law, corporate and partnership law and commercial law.
Mr. Erhart received a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Arizona in 1977 and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi scholastic honorary societies. Mr. Erhart received his J.D. “magna cum laude” from Arizona State University.
Alton Yoshikawa, Investor Development Director
Alton is responsible for partnering with real estate investors looking for passive income. After spending 20 years as a banker, Alton knows what drives investors' choices when it comes to investing their hard-earned money; it’s establishing and cultivating relationships based on trust, integrity, and performance. He understands that investors need to have the utmost confidence in who they are doing business with and has developed a knack for connecting with people and communicating how he can help them achieve their investment goals.
Alton has partnered with investors in California and Hawaii and is continuing his mission to build his network of investors looking for real estate opportunities. Alton resides in Southern California with his wife and two children.
