Mitchell Davis is Managing Principal of Landwin Real Estate Advisors, LLC (Landwin) and its affiliates. For more than 40 years he has been actively involved in all aspects of commercial real estate including acquisition, financing, development, syndication, investment and management. In the commercial real estate industry Mr. Davis has participated in well over 20 million square feet of real estate valued at more than $4 billion.
Mr. Davis was a partner in the Washington, D.C. mortgage brokerage firm National Capital Corporation of Washington. He left to become a Principal and Senior Officer at New York’s Sybedon Corporation, a large real estate investment banking firm. There, he managed a team of mortgage banking professionals, started their wholesaling group for syndication of historic properties throughout the USA, and was responsible for new business development within the company.
In 1999, Mr. Davis moved to Scottsdale, Arizona to open an office and be responsible for 23 western states as an Officer of Capital Lease Funding, the first lender to specialize in Credit Tenant Lease Financing. This eventually led to his joining DeBartolo Development, at one time the largest real estate developer in the country, as Senior Vice President. He left DeBartolo to join Landwin as a Principal with responsibilities in acquisitions, capital raising and marketing.
Mr. Davis graduated with a Bachelors degree from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA and studied for his Masters at New York University in New York City. After graduation, he served in the US Army Reserves. He is married to Donna, his wife of 43 years, resides in Scottsdale and has a son and two grandsons living in Phoenix. He is a member of the International Conference of Shopping Centers, the Urban Land Institute, and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts. He has been on numerous conference panels over the years and has written many articles for industry magazines.
